Description
Flocking is a finish rather than a material: short fibres are bonded to the surface to give it a dense, velvety pile with no grain and no direction. On a pointed flat it does something a smooth upper cannot — it absorbs light instead of reflecting it, so the shape reads as a clean silhouette rather than a shiny object.
The toe is drawn to a genuine point, which lengthens the foot and is the reason this style has never gone away. There is no heel to speak of and no fastening; a slim metal bar sits across the vamp as the only hardware. The sole is rubber, described as wear-resisting.
Four colourways and they are not neutrals: black, green, red and fuchsia. That is the point of a flat like this — it is the colour in an outfit, not the base of it. Fuchsia and red are the two that carry it. A flocked surface holds dust in the pile, so brush it rather than wipe it, and keep it dry: this is not a rainy-day shoe. The size run is one of the longest we carry for women, from UK 4 to UK 8½. Browse the full Women's Loafers range.

Size & Fit
These loafers are true to size. Simply select your usual size. To measure your foot: place your heel against a wall and measure from the wall to the end of your longest toe, then allow approximately 1 cm of extra space.
Care
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct heat. Allow to air dry away from radiators, and store with a shoe tree or stuffing to help keep their shape.
Loafers Heritage started with a simple idea: one kind of shoe, done properly. No trainers, no boots — just loafers, chosen one pair at a time and stocked in every size we can get, delivered across the United Kingdom. Every pair has to earn its place on three points: the upper, the footbed and the sole.
How should these loafers fit, and what size should I order?
They run true to size, so order your usual UK size. If you are between sizes or have a wider foot, size up. Not sure? Stand with your heel against a wall and measure from the wall to your longest toe, then match that length to your usual size.
Do they need breaking in?
Very little. The construction and cushioned insole feel comfortable from the first wear; you may notice the upper relax and mould to your foot over the first day or two.
Can I wear them without socks?
Yes. No-show socks keep the lining fresh without breaking the clean line of the shoe, which is ideal in warmer months. If you go sock-free often, rotating between pairs helps the lining last longer.
How do I care for them?
For suede, brush with a suede or crepe brush after wear and treat marks with a suede eraser rather than water. For leather, wipe with a soft cloth and use a matching conditioner now and then. A protector spray before first wear helps both. Store with a shoe tree, away from direct heat.
Are they waterproof?
No. Leather and suede are water-resistant at best. A protector spray helps them shrug off light rain; after a heavy soaking, let them dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators or direct heat, with a shoe tree inside to hold their shape.
How long does UK delivery take, and how much is it?
Standard UK delivery is free on every order and takes 6 to 9 business days: 1 to 2 business days for order processing and 5 to 7 business days for transit. Your estimated delivery date is shown at checkout before you pay.
What is your returns and exchange policy?
