Description
A proper moccasin at forty pounds. The upper wraps under the foot and is stitched around the vamp rather than lasted over a board, which is what gives the shape its softness and why it needs no wearing-in. The seam is left visible around the toe, and it is the only detail on the shoe.
The lining is cotton, which matters more than the price suggests on a shoe listed for nursing and commuting: it breathes across a long day where a synthetic lining holds heat. The footbed is EVA with some cushioning, and the outsole is rubber. The upper is rated water-resistant.
Four colourways: pale blue, white, black and ivory. Pale blue is the surprise and the reason to look — a soft, dusty blue that reads as a neutral in summer. White and ivory are close cousins; both will mark. There is no wide-foot guidance, so we have not invented any: order your usual size and use the foot-length table. Half sizes from UK 4 to UK 7. Size & Fit
These loafers are true to size. Simply select your usual size. To measure your foot: place your heel against a wall and measure from the wall to the end of your longest toe, then allow approximately 1 cm of extra space.
Care
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct heat. Allow to air dry away from radiators, and store with a shoe tree or stuffing to help keep their shape.

How should these loafers fit, and what size should I order?
They run true to size, so order your usual UK size. If you are between sizes or have a wider foot, size up. Not sure? Stand with your heel against a wall and measure from the wall to your longest toe, then match that length to your usual size.
Do they need breaking in?
Very little. The construction and cushioned insole feel comfortable from the first wear; you may notice the upper relax and mould to your foot over the first day or two.
Can I wear them without socks?
Yes. No-show socks keep the lining fresh without breaking the clean line of the shoe, which is ideal in warmer months. If you go sock-free often, rotating between pairs helps the lining last longer.
How do I care for them?
For suede, brush with a suede or crepe brush after wear and treat marks with a suede eraser rather than water. For leather, wipe with a soft cloth and use a matching conditioner now and then. A protector spray before first wear helps both. Store with a shoe tree, away from direct heat.
Are they waterproof?
No. Leather and suede are water-resistant at best. A protector spray helps them shrug off light rain; after a heavy soaking, let them dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators or direct heat, with a shoe tree inside to hold their shape.
How long does UK delivery take, and how much is it?
Standard UK delivery is free on every order and takes 6 to 9 business days: 1 to 2 business days for order processing and 5 to 7 business days for transit. Your estimated delivery date is shown at checkout before you pay.
What is your returns and exchange policy?
We offer 30-day returns, and we pay the return postage. As long as your loafers are unworn, in resaleable condition and in their original box, you can send them back within 30 days of delivery. Email us and we send you a prepaid label — you have nothing to pay.
